1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the LyraRide app, or the LyraRide Driver app. The steps are the same.
- Go to Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.
2. What deletion does
- Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently. Signing in with that phone number is disabled, and the account cannot be restored.
- All active sessions are signed out and their tokens revoked.
- Your registered devices are removed, so no more push notifications are sent to your phone.
- Some records (ride history, fares and safety records) may be kept for a limited period where the law requires it, for legal compliance, dispute resolution and fraud prevention, after which they are removed or anonymised. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
- LyraRide does not hold any ride money for you: rides are paid directly to drivers, so there is no balance to withdraw before you delete.
3. No longer have the app?
You can ask for deletion without the app. Email info@lyrakart.com from any address with the subject "Delete my account" and include the phone number the account is registered under. To make sure it is really you, we verify that you own the number: we send a one-time code (OTP) to it and ask you to confirm the code before the account is deleted. Requests are handled promptly once verified.
